IDEA Cellular , a leading mobile service provider, with more that 15 million-customer base in India, has been awarded the 'India Operator of the Year' Award by Asian Mobile News journal. Mr. Rajat Mukarji, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, IDEA received the Award at a glittering function held at Singapore on the sidelines of " Communic Asia 2007".

 

Asian Mobile News Award is constituted every year to recognise the operators in the region. This year 10   Asian countries took part in the award ceremony. IDEA was rated ahead of the other Indian operators in the growing Indian cellular market.

 

Speaking about the achievement Mr. Sanjeev Aga, Managing Director, IDEA said, "We are extremely delighted to receive this Award which is in recognition of our efforts to live up to the expectations of our customers.
