In addition, in the same quarter, IBM also retained the #1 position in the high end external storage market ending the quarter with 58.5% share, in terms of factory revenue (gaining 11.5% YOY). This market segment brought in nearly half of IBM’s external disk storage revenues. IBM India has been experiencing a steady growth in the external storage space in the last one year (Q3 2006 - Q2 2007).
