The Partner Sales Support Centre initiative comes on the heels of the realignment of IBM System and Technology Group from a product centric model to a customer centric model. IBM STG is now focused on aligning closely with customers’ needs in order to provide complete end-to-end solutions that address their constantly changing business requirements, and the Partner Sales Support Centre is the latest example of this realignment.
Ajay Mittal, Country Manager – Volume Business, Systems & Technology Group IBM India/ SA said, “The goal of the Partner Sales Support Centre is to help our Business Partners become better consultants who understand the specific needs of their customers. Given the constantly changing needs of our customers throughout India, both large and small, it is our responsibility to arm our Business Partners with the right information to address these needs. Our geo-expansion to 14 new cities last year will help us penetrate and reach more partners.”
One of IBM’s leading Business Partners Mr. Devendra Taneja, CEO – PC Solutions Pvt.Ltd said, “ We are happy that IBM is launching the Partner Sales Support Centre as this will help us collaborate closely with IBM and help our sales team better understand the breadth and depth of Systems & Technology products available from IBM for customer's business problems. We expect this new initiative will help us proposition appropriate Systems & Technology products to our customers. We expect this new initiative to help us resolve customer queries with an emphasis on the technology and its implication to their businesses”.
The Partner Sales Support Centre will help assist the Business Partners with queries related to all Systems & Technology Group products and will be available throughout the week, Monday-Friday, during working hours through a toll-free number or via email. Incase of an event where PSSC is not able to answer a query, they will revert with possible solutions at the earliest. The Partner Sales Support Centre will also on a case-to-case basis help the Business Partner close opportunities by being part of the discussion with the customer. This will help the customer understand the technology better as well as have a road map for their future growth and scalability that their business would require in some years to come.
