The verdict is out! Hungama TV today declared Pratik Modak from Hyderabad, the winner of its summer contest ‘Pyjama Pakdo’. In a fiercely fought contest with over 1.1 million entries, Pratik aged 10 managed to catch more pyjamas than all the others who participated in the wacky contest.
Kids from all over India participated in record breaking numbers to join the Pyjama Pakdo force since May 7th this year. Everyday, 20 lucky kids won Binoculars, Digital Radio, Gaming CD from ZAPAK.COM and Tiffin box from Kelloggs Chocos. The Pyjama Pakdo Contest got even bigger once the kids got promoted at various levels winning them Skateboards, Walkie Talkie sets, Audio-video player, funky bike from BSA Champ at each level.
Aparna Bhosle, Director – Programming and Production, Hungama TV said, “This summer, we wanted kids across India to enjoy the mad flavour of the channel. We therefore tuned the on-air and off-air elements of our summer campaign to savour the ‘masti’ holiday mood. We are happy that the campaign struck the perfect cord with our viewer’s across India. I congratulate Pratik and thank all the other kids who participated in this contest with a great spirit.”
Pratik Modak, winner Pyjama Pakdo contest, said, “It was really fun participating and even more exciting to get promoted on every level. Although the last level was a little tricky, I managed to win. I am taking my mom on the trip to Singapore!”
The presenting sponsors for Pyjama Pakdo Contest were Zapak.com & the associate sponsors are BSA Champ & Kellogg's Chocos.
