As part of its overall growth plans, Hinduja Group has announced its latest initiative for its global automotive business for organic and inorganic growth.  In order to achieve this objective, it is expanding and repositioning LRLIH Ltd., U.K., its holding Company of Ashok Leyland Ltd and Ennore Foundries Ltd, and re-naming it as Hinduja Automotive Ltd. It will be the exclusive platform of strategic ownership and related businesses of the Group in the automotive sector. It will expand its present interest in commercial vehicles and foundries to a wider range of products and services such as components (including iron and aluminium foundry products), construction equipment, technology and other adjacent area.

Seshasayee will be appointed as Vice-Chairman of Hinduja Automotive Ltd with immediate effect. In this capacity, he will be responsible for strategising and developing the Group's vision for global growth of the automotive business. Mr. Anders Spare, who is currently the Chief Executive Officer of LRLIH, UK, will continue as CEO of Hinduja Automotive Ltd.
