Hexaware Technologies, a leading global provider of IT and BPO services based in India, held its annual Tech Summit 2006 at the Chennai Trade Center in Chennai on October 28 - 29, 2006.

 

The summit was inaugurated by Mr. Shankar Annaswamy, MD, IBM India along with Mr. Atul Nishar, Founder and Chairman, Hexaware Technologies.

 

Speaking at the inauguration, Nishar said, "The Tech Summit is aimed at providing a platform to all Hexawarians to hone their skills and in the process create industry leaders."

 

The Tech Summit is an opportunity for software professionals in Hexaware to showcase their capabilities and contribute in building higher value to Hexaware's customers. Besides the white papers and presentations, several Center of Excellences (COE) were also arranged at the Summit. This year the theme of the two-day Tech Summit was 'Building Value for Customers'.

 

In his key not speech, Annaswamy said, "India's talent will be a key source of global innovation in the coming years."

 

He later released Hexaware's Tech Journal which is dedicated to the technical landscape and knowledge gained by company executives.
