In an interview with CNBC-TV18, US Jha, CMD, RCF , speaks about the policy and gives his outlook going forward. Here is a verbatim transcript of the exclusive interview with US Jha on CNBC-TV18. Also watch the accompanying video. Q: What have you made of the subsidy for nutrients that have now been fixed on items like nitrogen, phosphorous, potash? A: As you know the nutrient-based subsidy (NBS) policy has been announced in the Budget and Budgetary provision has also been made. Overall, Budgetary provision is about Rs 50,000 crore, of which for urea it is Rs 15,000 crore and imported urea is about Rs 5,000 crore. Rest about Rs 29,000 crore is for decontrol fertilser that is phosphatic and potashic fertilsers. The NBS policy is a win-win situation for the government, for the industry, for the farmers, if properly implemented. It has to start from April 1 and maybe it will take two-three seasons for the policy to stabilize and take a proper shape. But I think it's going to be a good thing.
