Tata Steel 's latest venture is their Greenfield projects in Orissa, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. CNBC-TV18 has more on this.
Speaking on Tata Steel's latest foray, B Muthuraman, Managing Director of Tata Steel said that the company is currently focussing on its three green field projects in Orissa, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
B Muthuraman says, "We are putting up Greenfield plants in Jharkhand Orrisa and Chatisgarh. Mines exploration is part of the process."
Muthuraman says that these three Greenfield plants are their top priority, and also pointed out that while the focus was on organic expansion, the company was not ruling out the possibility of acquisitions.
