In the wake of rising terror and growing threat to lives and property, the Security Equipment Division (SED) of Godrej & Boyce, the pioneers in the security solutions space, announced its entry in the ‘Premises Security Solutions’ segment. Godrej SED has entered into a strategic alliance with various global majors like Tescon, Notifier, Adams, Fiscan, Panasonic, Advance Perimeter Systems, to introduce state-of-the-art premises and electronic security systems like Road Blockers, Tyre Killers and Crash Rated Barriers, explosive and narcotic detectors, under vehicle surveillance systems, Baggage Scanners, amongst others. All these products would be available in India under the ‘Godrej Secure’ brand, which also offers products like electronic security systems, safes & Vaults, burglar & fire alarm systems, etc.
Godrej SED is the largest manufacturer of security equipment in India, with over 75 per cent of the domestic market share (in the Physical Security Equipment market), a steady growth of 20 per cent and an annual turnover expected to touch Rs. 200 Crore in the current year. Recently the Company has provided comprehensive security solutions to Shree SiddhiVinayak Temple, the well-known landmark in Mumbai. Godrej SED is also the only company in India to conduct threat analysis before providing comprehensive security solutions integrating physical and electronic systems to any particular premise.

The Godrej Premises Security Solutions - a special range of high end security systems introduced in association with the internationally acclaimed majors like Tescon, Adams, Fiscan to stop various types of unauthorized intrusions are built to meet varied needs of diverse customer segments (having different budgets) to take care of their security needs. Some of the Security Products, available under the ‘Godrej Secure’ brand, include Road Blockers, Tyre Killers, Hand-held metal detectors, Door Frame metal detectors, Crash Rated Barriers, Crash Rated Gates, Under Vehicle Surveillance Systems, Blast Resistant Systems, Explosive & Narcotics detection systems, vehicle tracking systems and a host of Bullet Resistance Solutions.
