Godrej Consumer Products (GCP) on Saturday said it has agreed to buy personal care company Tura from Nigeria's Tura Group.
The deal size was not disclosed, but GCP said Tura's current management team will continue to lead the business.
"Tura helps us leapfrog in our endeavour to build a pan-African presence for our core categories such as personal wash and hair care," GCP Chairman Adi Godrej said in a statement.
This acquisition follows GCP's acquisitions of the Rapidol and Kinky businesses in South Africa over the last two years.
