GoAir has announced that it has recorded 81 per cent load factor in September 2007. It may be noted that GoAir has been consistently recording the highest load factor in the Indian aviation industry since the last few months. The airline's load factor during the last few months has been in excess of 80 per cent.

Moreover, GoAir has also recorded an escalation in the growth rate of passenger traffic flown by the airline. At the close of the second quarter during the current fiscal, GoAir's  passenger traffic volume increased by 123 per cent. The airline had recorded 95 per cent growth in passenger traffic during the first quarter. With the onset of the festive and tourist season in India, GoAir is poised to maintain this trend of escalation in growth rate of its passenger traffic during the third quarter too.

Given the escalation in passenger volumes and the new demand generation, the airline is now enhancing its flight operations by inducting additional flights in its existing network. GoAir is doubling its current flight operations from October-end. This is part of the frequency enhancement programme that the airline is rolling-out across its entire network. As part of this strategy, GoAir will double the overall frequency of its network by increasing flight operations from 259 flights to 561 commercial flights per week.
