General Motors rolled off the first Chevrolet Aveo U-VA today at its Halol plant in Gujarat, reports CNBC-TV18.
The company is targetting the youth and pitting the U-VA against the Swift and Getz. The car sports a modern Italian design, standard features and roomy interiors.
The five door premium hatchback will go on sale at Chevrolet retailers in India before the end of this year.
The Aveo UV-A is the third new Chevrolet product to enter the market from GM's stable this year.
