Glenmark unit gets USFDA nod for hypertension drug

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. said on Thursday its unit has received U.S. FDA approval for moexipril hydrochloride and hydrochlorothiazide tablets.

The tablets are a generic version of Schwarz Pharmaceuticals' Uniretic and are used to treat hypertension. They have annual sale of USD 8 million in the US market, Glenmark said.
