Gati , leader in express cargo delivery and a pioneer in distribution and supply chain management solutions in India since 1989.has announced the launch of Gati Majestic 10736 DWT Containerized vessel with a carrying capacity of 844 Teu's. The new vessel will be operational by Mid - Oct and would be running between Chennai, Portblair & Yangon and providing connectivity to Ranong,Penang and chittagong using Portblair as Transhipment Hub. The new vessel was acquired for $ 17 Million.

Another first from the company is to start a direct liner service between Myanmar and India. Gati Coast to Coast has been serving Andaman & Nicobar islands for last two decades and in 2005 it expanded its services to Yangon, Myanmar.. Offlate Gati CTC also started first ever direct container service between Ranong Port, Thailand, providing connectivity to India, Colombo, Dubai, Karachi & Yangon.Gati Coast to Coast owns and manages four vessels M.V. Gati-1, M.V.Gati Suvidha , M.V.Gati Zipp, M.V.Gati Prestige.A major step forward Gati has recently acquired M.V. Gati Majestic.Gati looks forward to M.V.Gati Pride, DWT 7288 MT a new construction with a capacity of 442 Teu which will be delivered by October end.
