Four Soft Limited (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), a globally leading software solutions provider of transportation and logistics management, today announced un-audited financial results for the financial year ended 31st march 2008.

 

The year was marked by impressive number of client acquisitions. Consolidated revenue from Operations was Rs. 173 crore and Operational PBT was Rs.16.35 crore. This is a considerable increase of about 6% in the revenue as compared to last year's figure of 163 crore and about 28% in the Operational PBT as compared to previous year's figures of Rs. 12.79 crore. During the fourth Quarter of FY07-08, the revenue reported was Rs. 44 crore and the PBT was Rs. 5.59 crore, that has quite significantly contributed to the impressive annual results.

 

Commenting on the results, Mr. Biju.S Nair, Senior Vice President - Finance & HR, Four Soft Limited, said, "We are very pleased to announce successful Quarterly results. This is a combined effect of increased revenue from license and maintenance, client acquisitions and optimized operations carried out of a successfully implemented integration plan of our acquisitions in the past. This, coupled with successful implementation of our products at reputed client sites globally, has helped us to comeback very strongly."

 

On the future plans, Mr. Palem Srikanth Reddy, CEO, MD and Chairman of Four Soft Limited stated, "We have planned to step up our focus on domestic market and we are very happy to see strong traction and pipeline in the last 6 months from this part of the globe." Speaking on the occasion he also commented, "We have strengthened our management team in the recent past and this would help our plans for the future."
