Ford India opens an all- new dealership in Kolhapur

Ford India 's president and managing director, Arvind Mathew, formally inaugurated a brand new 3-S [showroom, sales and service] dealership, Planet Ford in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, the first of its twenty new dealerships to be added in 2008.

 

Conveniently located on NH4 (Pune-Banglore Highway) at Unchgaon, Kolhapur, Planet Ford is well-equipped to offer world class and professional sales and service experience to Ford customers in and around Kolhapur, Ratnagiri, Sangli and Sindhudurg districts in Maharashtra.

 

Ford India recently announced its comprehensive and growth strategy with infusion of additional USD 500 million by Ford Motor Company to expand its India operations over next couple of years.

Planet Ford, spread over 40,000 sq. ft area is a Brand@Retail* showroom built according to Ford's global standard to guarantee a memorable and pleasant motoring and ownership experience to its customers, from their first step into the showroom to a long-term association with Ford. This includes a large workshop facility of 30000 sq feet, with a separate mechanical repair workshop and a body shop.  

 

With 22 work bays and a capacity to service 50 vehicles per day, the facility is manned by group of more than 30 experts including works manager, service advisors, technicians, floor supervisor, parts manager and executives at Dealer Customer Relationship Centre [DCRC].
