Flightraja–Instant ticketing - book, anytime anywhere!

Bangalore based travel solutions company Flightraja today announced the launch of new initiatives, the first of its kind in the country - a SMS/kiosk/agent and online based instant search and booking service offering all airlines and cheapest airfares available at any given point of time. This is the first time a company is offering its travel solutions on various delivery channels with the uniqueness of being able to offer their services for all airlines in the country today.

Flightraja will enable customers to have a variety of booking channels for their flight tickets:

Flightraja.com: The only portal in India offering bookings across all airlines through a really simple interface.

Kiosks: The kiosk version will initially available at Garuda Mall, Bangalore and the company has received firm orders to have 26 kiosks across Bangalore and 20 in Chennai as the first stage roll out. The kiosks will allow customers to book their tickets while they are at malls shopping or at their corner shop shopping for groceries.

FLY TO 4242: Travelers will now be able to book their flight tickets in three simple steps powered by “Flightraja Booster Search Engine” an indigenous technology.

Step 1 - SMS Fly Del Mum 28 Jul to 4242 to search for flights from Delhi to Mumbai on 28^th July.

Step 2: To book ticket SMS Fly Book to 4242 and Flightraja customer care will call back to complete the booking.

Step 3: Confirm booking by paying via credit card through a secure payment gateway or by depositing cash into SBI / UTI Banks to receive airline PNR instantly via SMS.

Agent Based Ticketing: The agent based model will tap into the retired and homemaker community and will provide them “a earn from home” option and the initial roll out would be done with 110 online ticketing agents for flightraja in Bangalore and 70 in Chennai. With as little as Rs. 25,000 deposit a housewife or a retired person can become a neighbourhood travel agent and will get to keep 4% of all tickets sold.

Speaking at the launch Mr. Vinay, CEO, Flightraja said “Today’s traveler is looking at a ‘here and now’ option for information and booking of travel tickets in the easiest possible method. For this to be possible flightraja will be available in all forms (kiosks, agents and SMS) to make instant ticketing a reality.”
