Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises ( FISME ) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Fullerton Enterprises Private Limited (FEPL) and Centurion Bank of Punjab (CBOP).

 

This joint initiative between FISME and CBOP/FEPL is aimed towards bringing development, competitiveness and growth in the SME sector by addressing the various growth needs of SME associations and their members, which are linked directly or indirectly to FISME. The growth objectives of SME sectors will be addressed from 360 degree perspective thus giving specialized SME banking solutions, financial advisory services and non-financial advisory services to the SME sector.

 

The MoU was kicked off with a seminar for exporters on managing foreign exchange risk. On the occasion, a policy paper was released by FISME and UNCTAD on "Impact of Exchange Rate Fluctuations: Options for SMEs". The paper was contributed by Metalogos, CBOP and Fullerton Enterprises.
