FIBCOM , a leader in optical transmission products (SDH/DWDM), integrated network solutions and telecom infrastructure development projects has created waves in the industry since its inception. A leading player in the domain of telecom networking and data products hardware, FIBCOM, has bagged a prestigious and most sought after project of Rs. 75 crores from Reliance Communications , the pioneer in the telecom industry. The Reliance project caters to a massive expansion of their transmission network across the country. Reliance Communications selected FIBCOM's next generation SDH product, the FIBCOM - Tellabs 6325. This is also the world's smallest multi service provisioning platform (MSPP) product (MSPP provides reliable transport of Datacom and telecom services between dissimilar networks).

FIBCOM's 6325 is a compact Multi-Service Provisioning Platform supporting SDH, PDH and data services. Reliance Communication had opted for the best product from Fibcom that would provide them cost effective and efficient services. FIBCOM's major achievement of bagging this project was announced in a company release detailing the first quarter results. This project shall be executed in phases and the first phase project runs into Rs. 75 Crores to be completed over next 3 months time.

Commenting on this, Ms Shradha Suri, Executive Director, Fibcom India Pvt. A member of the Suri Group, Fibcom has also won a major order from BPL for expanding their network using 6325 fixed configuration as the SDH transmission nodes. Other major wins in the quarter are from Idea and Spice for their core and access nodes in various circles.
