Feedback Ventures , India's leading integrated infrastructure services company, announced that it had been awarded a prestigious project for a World Bank funded project to help design and then bid out 1,226 kilometers of state highways under Public Private Partnership (PPP). This is Andhra Pradesh's longest-ever highway stretch given to a single company.  Together, these eight stretches of roads are expected to attract close to Rs. 3,000 crore of investment.

The Government has asked Feedback Ventures to provide both the PPP techno-economic feasibility and the engineering design.  The project is scheduled to be completed in nine months.  After the completion, Feedback would also be assisting the AP Road Development Corporation (APRDC) in bidding out these eight stretches to private investors under an appropriate road format.  The eight stretches are:  1) Hyderabad to Karimnangar to Ramagundam road. 2) Warangal to Raipatnam road.  3) Warangal to Khamman to Tallada road.  4) Tallada to Devrapalli road.  5) Narketpalli to Addanki road.  6) Pericherla to Thokapalli road.  7) Puthaplapattu to Naidupet Road. 8) Kadapa to Renigunta road.

Feedback Ventures also announced the opening of its new, larger regional office in Hyderabad.  This office allows space for teams from all of Feedback's five divisions to work simultaneously.

"I am glad that Feedback is expanding its capacity to work in Andhra Pradesh through its new office.  There are many opportunities that the state offers for infrastructure development, across all sectors.  I'm sure that Feedback' s ten-year track record of work in Andhra Pradesh will be strengthened in the years to come from our new office," said Mr. Vinayak Chatterjee.

According to Mr. Y. Srinibas, Vice President, who heads Feedback Ventures' Hyderabad regional office. "In the last six months, thanks to increase in business, our team in Hyderabad has more than doubled.  Our new office at Central Plaza in Rajbhavan Road has been designed to allow us to have six times more people working here than in the old office, but given the rate at which we're growing, I expect that we'll soon run out of space and will have to look for yet another office."

Currently, Feedback is providing consultancy services to review and update the Sewerage Master Plan for rehabilitation, strengthening, and improvement of existing sewerage system for the drainage project area of twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad (Zone 3).

Feedback's work with Andhra Pradesh goes back to 1997.  Some of its projects completed here are:

  • Advising the then Government to attract foreign investment.
  • The Energy Division and the Capacity Building Division together advised
  • APTRANSCO, the electricity transmission utility, on many areas of restructuring and reforms.
  • Last year, the Project Management Division completed the project management of the Metro Cash & Carry in a record time of 169 days.
  • The Engineering Division carried out capital planning for Khamman and eight other towns.
  • The Infrastructure Advisory Division assisted in selecting a private partner to build the rail line from Krishnapatnam port to Obuvallirapalle.
  • Feedback has also advised a leading hospital in the city on how it can improve its functioning.
