FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company, brings to you the perfect combination of the two biggest passions of India - “FedEx 11 v/s Hattrick 11”. The cricket fever touched to a new high with the match held this Sunday, February 25, in the city at the Khar Gymkhana. Hattrick cast including Bollywood stars Nana Patekar, Kunal Kapoor, Rimi Sen, and well-known cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle tested their cricketing skills against FedEx 11, a team fielded by FedEx Express and drawn from the winners of the all-India FedEx Perfect team contest.
“The FedEx 11 v/s Hattrick 11 match is a rare mix of Cricket and Bollywood, the two most popular sources of entertainment in India. Our customers experience the FedEx difference everyday in their interactions with us. This Sunday, they experienced entertainment with the FedEx difference as they come face to face with an array of leading Bollywood personalities and took home memorable moments to cherish for their lifetime,” says Mr. Jacques Creeten, Vice President India, Federal Express Corporation
“Our association with Hattrick, a film with cricket as a backdrop, is a reflection of the values that FedEx shares with Cricket – Reliability and Teamwork,” he adds.
Siddharth Roy Kapur, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Communications, UTV says “Hattrick is a story of triumph of human spirit. It is about doing something that one has never done before, and something that must be done now, in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. Because it will make the difference between winning and losing. With two passionate teams locked against each other in the FedEx 11 v/s Hattrick 11 match, was quite an engaging match”.
