Era Landmarks (India) Limited (ELIL), erstwhile known as Era Infrastructure (India) Ltd. (EIIL) has embarked upon an ambitious Rs 6000 mn realty project in Meerut which includes two integrated townships along with a shopping mall and multiplex.
Targeting the middle and the upper middle class, ELIL is going to develop two townships - Era Aspen Garden and Era Gardenia Estate, in addition to the ‘Era Mall’.
Era's Aspen Garden, spread over 60 acres of land is a modern English suburbia. The villas and township are created using the Gothic architecture style to provide an ethereal and unique English look. Era’s Gardenia Estate, conceptualized and designed by acclaimed architects Synergy International will be spread over 60 acres and offers theme-based villas designed on the lines of the American suburban. The construction of both these townships has already commenced and the first phase will be ready by the first quarter of the year 2008.
The first of its kind mall in Meerut will be built with an investment of Rs 500 mn, and is going to be operational by November 2007. The Era Mall aims to provide the world-class urban shopping experience in the city. This mall will house leading and popular brands coupled with a three screen multiplex.
“The real estate boom is no longer limited to the larger metropolises of India, but has now permeated to the burgeoning smaller towns and cities. Meerut, because of its proximity to the NCR, is not considered a far-away small town anymore. In fact, it has emerged as an important destination for real estate development. We, at Era, are proud to be a part of building world class residential complexes, integrated townships, along with multiplexes and malls across Tier II and III cities”, said Mr. Krishna Kant, Chief Executive Officer, Era Landmarks (India) Ltd.
