Era Infra Engineering Limited (EIEL), a flagship company of ERA, a fully integrated infrastructure company, has bagged a prestigious order in consortium with KCT from NHAI worth Rs 550 crs for executing the Delhi-Bahadurgarh -Rohtak stretch in the state of Haryana.
This stretch of NH-10 will start from km 29.70 upto km 87.00.It entails the construction of a 63.49 k.m, stretch including a new 4 laned bypass for Bahadurgarh&Rohtak and 6 laned highway between Bahadurgarh and Rohtak from existing 2 laned highway on BOT basis. The bypass of Bahadurgarh would be 13 km long and bypass of Rohtak would be 25 km. This would also include the construction of five grade separators, four underpasses and three railway overbridges. This project is, scheduled to be completed in two years time.
"With the widening of this highway the travel time would reduce drastically and traffic flow would be smoother and comfortable. This project marks the company's second important BOT project acquisition with the first being the Gwalior Bypass on annuity basis. EIEL has been undertaking highway projects since 2005 with the widening and strengthening of the 112 km long state highway in Madhya Pradesh at an estimate cost of42 crores and the Gwalior by-pass Project on BOT Annuity basis from NHAI at an estimated cost of Rs 330 crs.
