Epson, a world leader in digital imaging, announced the launch of the EPSON Stylus Photo 1390 A3+ printer. The professional dye based inkjet printer incorporates cutting edge features and bears Epson’s expertise in large format digital imaging. Targeted at the demands of design houses, small businesses and photography enthusiasts, the EPSON Stylus Photo 1390 represents the next generation of high quality yet affordable A3+ printers.
Attractive affordability
The EPSON Stylus Photo 1390 maximises savings for owners by using extremely low cost genuine cartridge and provides added affordability by sporting a six-colour INKdividualTM cartridge system. This means users only need to replace the colours that have depleted instead of having to change the full set of colour inks all at once.
Higher resolution, even higher quality
To offer users best quality prints, the EPSON Stylus Photo 1390 is capable of maximum print resolutions of up to 5760 x 1440dpi (dots per inch). This is coupled with Epson’s advanced Variable Sized Droplet Technology (VSDT) which intelligently dispenses five different ink droplet sizes according to image requirements. VSDT uses bigger ink droplets to cover large colour blocks with minimal details, while the smallest ink droplets of only 1.5pl are capable of providing unfettered smooth gradation between colour tones needed in gallery quality prints.
The powerful combination of high printing resolution and advanced VSDT, with Epson’s award-winning Advanced Micro Piezo* technology provides unmatched consistency print after print, surpassing all fine precision printing needs while promising silky colour gradation for smooth tones across a wide colour gamut.
Faster print speeds
When high-speed printing is an important consideration, the EPSON Stylus Photo 1390 prints at speeds of 15 ppm (pages per minute) for both monochrome and colour printouts. When printing A3 glossy full colour prints, the new printer takes just 173 seconds, more than 250% faster than its predecessor!
