In addition to 2000 customers and 2900 worldwide installations, EPiServer has gathered marquee customers in India, such as NASSCOM and the Knowledge Management Community of Bangalore. Empowering global solution partners like Satyam, EPiServer is currently targeting the mid-market segment with their community and Web 2.0 functionality, which are in great demand worldwide. "We see an increasing demand for advanced web platforms such as our EPiServer CMS. Along with the Web 2.0 ideas and our own Warm Website initiative, customers like to get closer to their website visitors and serve them in new ways" informed Mikael. He said, "Our India team will be a key factor in our strategies to enhance these possibilities". EPiServer is looking to partner with around 40 partners within the first year of operations.
Commenting on the launch of EPiServer in India, Sangeeta Gupta, Vice President from NASSCOM said, "We have been using EPiServer CMS platform and found unmatched co-operation, ease of use and a product of great standard, which has a lot of potential in India".
