The Board of Directors of EIH Associated Hotels Limited at its Meeting held today announced the Audited Results for the financial year ended 31st March, 2007.

 

The Operating Profit increased from Rs.37 crores to Rs.53 crores, an increase of 43%.

 

Profit before tax has increased from Rs.8.29 crores to Rs. 21.76 crores, an increase of 162%.

 

Profit after tax at Rs. 13.71 crores as against Rs. 8.99 crores in the previous year, reflects a growth of 52%.

 

An 8 % (Eight) Dividend on Equity Shares on the increased Equity Capital of Rs.19.59 crores has been recommended.

 

The Schemes of Arrangement, as approved by the concerned High Courts, have resulted in Indus Hotels Corporation Limited merging with the Company.

 

The Company now owns two 'The Oberoi' brand hotels totaling 150 keys and six " Trident Hilton " brand hotels totalling 732 keys.

 

While presenting the Financial Results for the year 2006-2007, Mr. P.R.S. Oberoi, Chairman of the Company said, "I am happy that the Company will now be a significant player in the Indian hospitality industry. I foresee continued growth of the Company".
