Eicher truck, bus sales rise 5% to 3,708 units in Jan

The company's domestic sales were up 6% from a year ago last month at 3,551 units, while exports slipped 6% to 157 units, it said on Wednesday.
Eicher said its heavy duty trucks saw a sales growth of 10% from a year ago to 579 units, while it sold 365 buses in January, up from 200 a year ago.
Its light and medium truck sales were down 2% at 2,725 units during the month.
Eicher Motors shares closed up 1.8% at Rs 1,701 on NSE.
