Hindustan Unilever beat expectations in the fourth quarter earnings FY17. Volumes surged 4 percent much higher than estimates, the margins and profits were healthy too.
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Ritwik Rai, VP-Research at Kotak PCG shared his readings and outlook on HUL numbers. He said that earnings were ahead of their estimates.
Kotak PCG expects 17 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in HUL earnings in the next two years, he said, adding that they have raised the price target on HUL to Rs 1,100.
