Bharat Financial Inclusion Q2 net rises 87% to Rs 146 cr

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 77.86 crore in the July-September quarter of 2015-16.


Bharat Financial Inclusion, formerly SKS Microfinance, reported an 87.3 percent rise in its September quarter net profit at Rs 145.87 crore.

Total income of the company increased to Rs 449.60 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 from Rs 324.29 crore in the same period a year ago, it said in a regulatory filing.

The company issued 9,740,259 equity shares of Rs 10 each at a premium of Rs 760 per share aggregating Rs 749.99 crore through a QIP to qualified institutional buyers during the quarter.
