Dr Reddy’s inks R&D pact with 7TM Pharma
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories and the Denmark-based biotech company, 7TM Pharma, have entered into drug discovery collaboration on select drug targets in the area of metabolic disorders, reports Business Line.
Dr Reddy's Laboratories and the Denmark-based biotech company, 7TM Pharma, have entered into drug discovery collaboration on select drug targets in the area of metabolic disorders.
Under the terms of the agreement signed by both the companies, Dr Reddy's and 7TM Pharma will collaborate to identify clinical candidates for pre-selected targets.
They will jointly develop these candidates from the pre-clinical stage up to phase IIa (proof-of-concept) stage.
On successful completion of a phase IIa study, they may either license-out the candidate for further development and commercialisation to a larger pharmaceutical company or continue further co-development and commercialisation.
The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
