DoT to decide on accepting TRAI/TEC norms

Department of Telecommunications ' Review Commission has submitted a report on the subscriber thresholds for spectrum, reports CNBC-TV18. The Commission has left to DoT to decide on accepting TRAI or TEC norms.

Based on the TEC/TRAI criteria, Bharti will be ineligible for additional spectrum. TEC norms are more stringent than TRAI norms.
