The Walt Disney Company (India) today announced the launch of its non-character fashion wear - 'Disney Jeans' in India. Indus Clothing Ltd (ICL) has been appointed the brand licensee to market and distribute Disney Jeans available in stores across India and will also launch Disney Jeans Stores in key cities.
"We are pleased to bring Disney Jeans to India and to open Disney Jeans Stores. We will work closely with Indus Clothing to cater to the tastes of Indian families just the way families across the world have embraced it," Said Lester W Lee, Regional Director, Softlines - Disney Consumer Products (DCP).
'Disney Jeans' creates a line of products that meets the quality and value standards important to parents, while at the same time appealing to kids by offering the latest international runway design and styling. The core denim range is complimented with tees, fleece, jackets, woven shirts, woven bottoms and accessories in nearly 100 fashion styles for kids aged 4-14. Elements such as adjustable waist bands which loosen and tighten according to the child's growth, hook buttons that are easy for children to manage, offer a casual and fun option.
"We wanted to create a non-character apparel brand that kids like. Ultimately the range will evolve, to provide a total head-to-toe fashion experience for kids through diversification into footwear, eyewear, watches and innerwear," Lester added.
