Cyberoam, the provider of identity-based Unified Threat Management appliances, has signed a new channel partner VisionTech Systems, to substantially expand its presence in Middle-East and Africa. The partnership will enable VisionTech Systems to offer Integrated Internet security to small and medium enterprises by the sale of Cyberoam appliances.

Cyberoam appliances offer the complete set of security features - Firewall-VPN, Anti-virus, Anti-spam, IDP, Content- Filtering in addition to enhanced productivity through Bandwidth Management and Multiple Link Load Balancing and Gateway Failover over a single platform.

Cyberoam is the only UTM that embeds user identity in firewall rule matching criteria, eliminating IP addresses as intermediate components to identify and control the user. This offers instant visibility and proactive controls over security breaches. Also, this delivers complete security in dynamic IP environments like DHCP and Wi-Fi where the user cannot be identified through IP addresses. User Identity binds the security features to create a single, consolidated Cyberoam security unit enabling the administrator to change security policies dynamically through easy to configure policies.

"Inclusion of Cyberoam adds a highly strategic dimension to our Internet security product portfolio," says AliAsgar Dohadwala, Business Development Manager, VisionTech Systems.

"Cyberoam's unique identity-based features not only protect enterprises from external threats but also play a critical role in curtailing internal threats by identifying the individual users as well as applying controls based on user's business requirement," he says..

"VisionTech's combined experience of over 10 years in the Middle-East IT industry will enable us to capture market growth opportunities in the region," says Harish Chib, VP-Marketing, Cyberoam, Elitecore Technologies Limited. "This partnership is an excellent opportunity for us to leverage Cyberoam sales by broadening our reach in the Middle-East region and to draw approximately 1 Million US$ revenue."
