The chase for Anglo-Dutch steel giant Corus is heating up! Brazilian steel-maker CSN will start its due diligence for the London-based steel-maker today, reports CNBC-TV18.
On Friday, CSN had made a counter-offer for Corus at 475 pence per share, against Tata Steel's offer of 455 pence per share. Reports also suggest that Tata Steel may raise its USD 8 billion offer for Corus, in answer to CSN's counter-offer.
But sources say that the Tata's will wait for a firm counter-offer from CSN before they take any steps in this regard.
