Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE: CSC) today announced that it has signed an amendment to extend its information technology (IT) outsourcing agreement with Nortel (NYSE: NT; TSX) by two years. The amendment extends the contract through November 2011.

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will continue to provide applications support and IT call center services to Nortel's global user community. These services leverage CSC's World Sourcing delivery centers from around the globe to provide Nortel with a high-quality, low-cost solution.

"CSC has been providing IT services to Nortel since October 2000, and we are pleased by the confidence placed in us through the extension of this agreement," said Richard Ricks, president of CSC's Global Outsourcing Services organization. "We have worked closely with Nortel to drive service improvements, and we look forward to continuing that effort and enhancing it through greater innovation."
