Cross-Tab Market Research, a market research and analytics KPO head quartered in Mumbai has announced that it would double its head account to 400 in the next 18 months.
Cross-Tab requires a very specialized set of skills in its team. This is made up of people with backgrounds in disciplines like statistics, mathematics, programming and marketing. The positions will be filled by a mix of experienced and non-experienced people. A substantial part of the new hires will have advanced degrees including post-graduates, MBA’s and PHD’s. The skills required for performing high end market research processes are not readily available, therefore the company has invested in strong in-house training facilities and processes.
Cross-Tab Market Research KPO, performs high end processes and end to end projects for global market research industry clients. It has two centres in India, one in Mumbai and other in Bangalore. Cross Tab currently has a work force of approx. 200 employees in India and has a US presence in Seattle.
Cross Tab is also a full service market research agency in India, specializing in online research. Being a full service research agency, Cross-Tab has a strong understanding of the end-to-end research process, due to which the company is able to add substantial value to its outsourcing and panel engagements. It has majority of its clients from US and Europe.
Commenting on the announcement Mr. Ashwin Mittal, Director, Cross-Tab Market Research KPO said, “We are expecting a lot of growth from the European and U.S markets within the next couple of years. We are gearing up for this by substantially ramping up our teams in India and also increasing headcount in the US”
The major reason to increase the head count is because of the increase in demand of services seen from the Global Market Research Industry.
Cross Tab Market Research KPO had recently appointed Kumar Mehta ex-Microsoft Research Director as the Global CEO based in Seattle, USA. The company was also one of the finalist of “Red Herring Asia 200” award for Excellence in Innovation and Technology
Cross-Tab also has also initiated a Global Advisory board that consist of Marketing thought leader Dr Russ Winer and Simon Chadwick who guide the company on business and corporate strategy.
