Ever wondered how the same bottle of water costs Rs 10 in a regular store and twice of that in a multiplex? CNBC-Awaaz has been diligently reporting on how consumers are being cheated because of the collusion of manufacturers and multiplex owners.

 

Union Consumer Affairs Minister, Sharad Pawar has asked his officials to collect facts on the issue. He says that the government will take action once the facts are at hand. Pawar has promised action on this issue.

 

Sharad Pawar says, "We have requested concerned officials to give detailed information over that. After getting proper information, we will react."
