Q: You didn't have a very good Q3 because of Carbogen Amcis, but your CRAMS (Contract Research and Manufacturing Services) business was good. Outline for us how FY11 will pan out since a lot of your capex plans kick in at that time?

A: On overall consolidated basis, we are expecting about 20% growth in consolidated revenues next year, largely driven by manufacturing contracts. But contract research would be a little dull for maybe another two-three quarters.

Q: What kind of growth are you expecting in contract business and the fall that you are seeing in Carbogen itself stop or do you see a turnaround there?

A: We are expecting normal growth next year of about 7-10% over the current year. The consolidated growth of 20%, which we are talking of, will come largely from contract manufacturing business and that too from India.

Q: You have just completed a plant where I believe you have spent about USD 20 million on it, an API facility. How much of it will be under utilization and how much will it produce a year? Overall, how much of your facilities are under full utilization or 80 or 60%? If you could talk about this plant first and how much revenue it produces?

A: We have completed two new plants. One plant in Bavla in India, which is the plant for manufacturing oncology and high potency drugs, we are not expecting huge revenues from this in FY11. In FY12 only the major revenue will come. In FY11, we are expecting 5 million of turnover from that and in second half only it would go to commercial sales.

We completed another plant in China for API. The valuations are going on right now and that also somewhere in H2FY11, we will start commercial operations. There also we expect 5 million in first year.
