Newspaper Mint reports that Patanjali has been approached by some troubled infrastructure companies for support. This could be in the form of a joint venture or even a buyout.
In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Sounak Mitra, National Writer at Mint shared his views on the same.
According to him, there is no clarity on which companies are under discussion.
"My sources at Patanjali and in the banking front indicated that the company is in talks with both listed and unlisted companies with distressed assets," he added.
He further said that Patanjali might be interested in power and road assets.
