Coal Min to set up a committee to address issues

The coal ministry is to set up a committee to address many issues, including coal linkages for captive coal blocks.

The coal ministry is to set up a committee to address many issues, including coal linkages for captive coal blocks. "We have got a feedback from the private sector with regard to issues such as coal linkages for captive coal blocks, environment issues etc," coal secretary SK Srivastava told reporters in New Delhi.


"The inter-ministerial committee will look into these issues and will come up with resolutions," he said. The group would be constituted in a week's time and it is expected to address the issues in about a month.
