CNBC-TV18 India Business Leader Awards were given out today in a glittering ceremony in the capital. The awards are our annual endevour to honour India Inc's top companies and salute the outstanding leaders who are the helm.

Here are the big winners. CNBC Asia's India Business Leader of the year award was given to ICICI Bank 's top boss - Chanda Kochhar. The Aditya Birla group was the chosen one in the "Taking India Abroad" category.

TCS was selected as the outstanding company of the year. HDFC 's Renu Karnad was given the outstanding woman business leader of the year award.

The biggest of them all, the outstanding business leader of the year - was Rajiv Bajaj for taking Bajaj Auto to new heights in an extremely tough environment.
