Even as Tata Sons is gearing up for an EGM battle, it has reached out to institutional investors to allay fears, sources tell CNBC-TV18.
The holding company of Tata group companies has been in touch with foreign and domestic investors, the above sources add.
Both Ishaat Hussain and N Chandrasekaran who represent the group are making pitches to investors.
Cyrus Mistry was ousted as Tata Sons Chairman last month following which the group and Mistry have beenb trading barbs.
CNBC-TV18 further learns that Tata Sons representatives are likely to meet US investors later this week.
As part of its efforts to assure investors that it is business as usual, Tata Sons’ representatives are addressing concerns on performance of group companies.
