Cholayil Private Limited, a Chennai based leading FMCG Company with a pan India presence, announced the launch of Cuticura De02, marking their entry into the deodorant category in Delhi, today. Enhanced with the presence of Farnesol, the new product promises to fight odour-causing bacteria, without inhibiting perspiration. Cuticura De02 is available in three different fragrances, namely Original, Lavender and Pink Passion. The product is attractively prized at Rs. 65 for 75 ml and Rs.100 for 150 ml.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. M. C. Anand Kumar, Senior VP, Sales & Marketing, Dorcas Market Makers Ltd, the marketing arm of Cholayil said, “Product offerings under the Cholayil brand have always been based on a deep understanding of consumer needs. Body odour is a common problem faced by everyone today. Cuticura De02 tackles this issue with a unique deodorant with Farnesol, which allows the skin to breathe and also fights body odour. Farnesol removes odour-causing bacteria without blocking skin and keeps the user fresh and confident all day long.”
The launch of Cuticura De02 will be supplemented by television, press, POS and other below-the-line activities. The pack comes in a contemporary new packaging. The creative duties for the brand will be handled by Rediffusion / DYR.
As part of the efforts to augment market share in the skincare and personal care segment, Cholayil Private Ltd also plans to set up a soap manufacturing facility in Haridwar and a talcum powder unit with a third party arrangement in Uttranchal.
