GM India has extended its commitment for endorsing the Chevrolet Aveo carlines with the dynamic duo of Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan. Rani and Saif will continue to remain the Brand Ambassadors for the Chevrolet Aveo sedan and the recently launched hatchback, Chevrolet Aveo U-VA.
Research has shown that Rani and Saif have very effectively connected with the audience as they draw a perfect parallel with the brand by suitably embodying the dimensions of performance and aesthetics, substance and style of the Aveo sedan and hatchback versions.
They have very successfully launched the Aveo sedan and U-VA hatchback with memorable television commercials which reflect vivacity, attitude and exuberance.
“The Aveo carlines comprising of the Aveo sedan and the U-VA hatchback are new generation cars with class leading performance, amazing looks, style and great mileage. Hence we were looking at ambassadors who not only connect emotionally with the audience today but also embody the two dimensions of performance and aesthetics, substance and style plus class and exuberance. The search had brought us to Saif and Rani, two new generation and very successful stars of recent times. Together they have dramatised the superiority of the Aveo carlines over the competition and have brought alive the positioning of the Aveo and U-VA as an embodiment of great performance and immaculate aesthetics. We believe the brand and the personalities have derived mutual benefit from the association in the past and hence we continue with their endorsement of the Chevrolet Aveo carlines, going forward.” said Ankush Arora, Vice President – Sales, Marketing and After Sales, General Motors India.
The Aveo has carved a niche for itself in the segment based on defining performance, great looks, styling and space. The recently launched U-VA is primarily aimed at upgraders from the 2 box as well as additional 3 box car owners.
General Motors India is a wholly owned subsidiary of General Motors Corporation. GM India manufactures the Chevrolet Optra, Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet SRV, Chevrolet Aveo U-VA and the Chevrolet Tavera at its state of the art facility in Halol.
