Mumbai, Feb. 14 European technology consulting services provider Capgemini said it is in the process of buiding capacities ahead of demand and on course to increasing its India headcount to 40,000 by 2010.
No sub-prime slack Asked if the company sees any impending reduction in technology expenditure due to sub-prime crisis, Mr Parekh said "we are not seeing any reduction in pipeline ad nothing has changed. From our perspective, there are no job cuts and in fact we are building capacities for future." Referring to the company business process outsourcing (BPO) business, he said that it continues to witness healthy growth in the areas of finance and accounting. On the possibility of wage inflation and rupee appreciation and their potential impact on the technology sector, M. Parekh said that the impact would come down or get reduced in 2008.
