Can't conclude on cement cartelisation; probe is on: Moily

Veerappa Moily, corporate affairs minister today spoke about the case on cartelisation of cement players that was under investigation by the Competition Commission of India (CCI).

According to him, there are several facets that need to be looked into. Sometimes, the trade organizations and federations discuss and work according to calculations made on markets factors. "You cannot immediately come to a conclusion that there is a cartelisation, unless there is a proper evidence to prosecute them," he says. "So this is a matter which we have investigated and we are looking into."
