Canon showcases innovative technologies at Photofair '09

Canon India Pvt. Limited, one of the leading Complete Digital Imaging Company has announced to showcase its innovative technologies at the prestigious Photofair (India's largest photography exhibition) 2009. Canon Imaging zone spanning over 400 sqm was inaugurated by Mr. Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice President, Canon India today. The four day long exhibition brings together the entire photographic and Digital Imaging community at one platform, in order to increase its awareness on the digital revolution in photographic products. Photofair '09 is being held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from January 8th to January 11, 2009.

 

On this special occasion, Canon showcased its hero products among others which exemplify Canon's innovative technology. These products include PowerShot SX 10 IS, EOS 5D Mark II and HF 10 from the Imaging Communication Products and MP 198 and Pro 9500 from the Communication Systems Products. The SX 10 IS has cutting edge technology with an incredibly powerful 20x Optical Zoom, 10-megapixel resolution, and new DIGIC 4 Image Processor. Flash Memory allows the Canon HF10 to offer a range of benefits compared to camcorders based on other media: like Hard Disk Drives (HDD) among others.  EOS 5D Mark II, the new 21.1 megapixel professional camera with new full HD 1080 resolution movie recording powered by DIGIC IV. The MP 198 is All-in-One that completes every business need. With printing speed of 19 pages per minute for Black and White & 15 pages per minute for color, it offers solutions ideal for a competitive advantage.

 

Canon is also offering some special offers and schemes to its customers to boost sales. With this, Canon has also commenced the year 2009 at a high note commemorating the passing of 50 years since Canon sold its first single-lens reflex camera. Apart from this, Canon will also be hosting photography workshops at Photofair. Professional photographers from the Pixel Academy, Mumbai will conduct photography workshops four times a day. These workshops will be conducted on topics like how to select a DSLR camera, Digital Camera Menu setting, Canon SLR range followed by an open Q&A session.  Also fashion shows will be organized for all four days, thrice a day where models will showcase Canon's hero products. Canon will also showcase digital photobook which is the latest and an upcoming concept in the world of photography. It is an output of world class digital press combined with a high end album making software solution.
