LCOS: Enhanced by AISYS Technology

Canon’s LCOS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) reflective LCD panels facilitate the delivery of exceptionally high-resolution images free of the “lattice / screen door-effect” – a visual distraction common to LCD projectors, in which a faint grid pattern appears over the projected image. Together with Canon’s patented AISYS (Aspectual Illumination System) optical system, LCOS panels are further enhanced, resulting with bright, high-contrast images in a slim, compact design. AISYS achieves this by equalizing the light from the projection lamp and maximises the performance of the LCOS panels thus improving brightness, contrast and resolution.

Engineered to deliver sharp, defined SXGA+ (1400 x 1050) resolution, XEED SX800 delivers 3000 lumens of brightness at a contrast ratio of 900:1. This makes it highly capable of reproducing photographs, detailed spreadsheets and small text with ease. The XEED SX800 features a 0.55-inch SXGA+ panel, delivering high-resolution, high image-quality performance.

The XEED SX800 also features a 1.5x Powered Zoom/Focus Lenses that delivers increased resolution and suppression of lens aberrations. It also features a 10:0 lens offset, reducing the need for tilting and/or keystone correction. For additional convenience, the XEED SX800 is installed with an auto setup system which manages auto keystone and auto input selection.

Optional accessories for the XEED SX800 include a ceiling attachment to facilitate maintenance and replacement of the projection lamp and/or filters.
