BWA auction: Govt rev at Rs 38,324cr on Day 15
The all-India bid price for the broadband wireless auction (BWA) stands at Rs 12,775 crore at the end of day 15, up 4.22%. The government revenue rises to Rs 38,324 crore on day 15.
THE ALL-INDIA bid price for the broadband wireless auction (BWA) stands at Rs 12,775 crore at the end of day 15, up 4.22%. The government revenue rises to Rs 38,324 crore on day 15.
Six rounds were held today, taking the total rounds so far to 116.
Mumbai, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh circles were priced at Rs 2,273 crore, Rs 2,221 crore, Rs 2,049 crore, Rs 1,543 crore, and Rs 1,059 crore, respectively. Bids for Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kolkata, Punjab, Kerala, and Haryana came in at Rs 915 crore, Rs 608 crore, Rs 523 crore, Rs 332 crore, Rs 259 crore, and Rs 119 crore.
Only one circle is left with excess demand on day 15 as against four circles on day 14. Nine circles saw negative demand today.
There are indications that auction can end on Friday.
