Ajay Piramal, chairman of  Piramal Healthcare hopes the Budget is a conservative one. “The fiscal deficit is reined in to the extent possible and money is spent towards growth and planned expenditure,” he adds.

He further says, “On one hand, you are talking of a free capitalist society where there is no state intervention. So, one can’t then choose and pick that whenever we want state intervention, we say it’s the obligation of the state and other times we are talking about free economy. So, I personally believe that if it’s a free economy, tax payers’ money should not go out to deal unsustainable business. That’s not the reason why tax payers give their tax.,”
